Bani Jamra Park 2 opened

Manama : Municipalities Affairs Undersecretary at the Ministry of Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning, Dr. Nabil Mohammed Abu Al-Fateh yesterday opened the “Bani Jamra Park 2”. Northern Municipality’s Director-General, Yussef Ibrahim Al-Ghatam, MPs, Northern Municipal Council members, officials, and local civil society institutions attended the opening ceremony.

The undersecretary asserted that the Ministry of Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning is keen on implementing its development projects in accordance with the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier, to meet the needs of the citizens and residents.

He stressed the importance of the community partnership concept in municipal work, noting that “Friends of the Northern Municipality’s Gardens” project consolidates the community partnership principles and protects parks.

He said that two other parks will be opened in Bouri and Hamad Town, within the services provided to the citizens and residents.

He called for the need to preserve the national achievements, including public gardens.
