Geely January sales up to 155,089 units

Manama : Geely Automobile Holdings Limited yesterday announced that the Group’s total sales volume for  January 2018 reached another record high level of 155,089 units, an increase of approximately 51 per cent over the same period last year. 

In a statement released, the company said it achieved 10pc of the Group’s full year sales volume target of 1,580,000 units in 2018. 

The Group’s exports volume was up around 6pc year-on-year to 1,054 units in the month of January 2018. 

During the month of January 2018, Geely said its total sales volume in the China market was 154,035 units (including the sales volume of LYNK & CO-branded vehicles sold by the Group’s 50pc-owned joint venture), an increase of around 52pc from the same period last year. 

The sales volumes of “New Emgrand” and “Vision” sedan were 26,122 units and 20,055 units, respectively. 

The sales volume of “Geely Boyue” was 30,381 units and that of “Emgrand GS”, its crossover SUV model, was 20,087 units. 

“Emgrand GL”, Geely’s A+ segment sedan model, reported sales volume of 15,163 units, while “Vision SUV” and “LYNK & CO 01”  recorded sales volumes of 10,004 units and 6,173 units, respectively.
