Ruth clinches first place in Austria Marathon
Vienna : Bahrain’s Olympic runner Ruth Jebet has caught the limelight internationally once again as she won the first place in the 5-kilometre distance Austria International Marathon.
Rose Chelimo won the third place in the marathon competition; and, Abraham Cheroben assumed the fourth place in the men’s 8-kilometre distance race.
This reflects the success of Bahraini sprinters and their outstanding performance at all levels.
Ruth also won the second place in the annual ranking of the US-based Track and Field News Magazine for best runners.
It is worth mentioning that Ruth Jebet had won a golden medal in Rio Olympiad2016 in Brazil.
