Physiotherapy department opened in Riffa
Manama : Minister of Health Faeqa Al-Saleh has patronized the opening of a Physiotherapy Department at Hamad Kano Health Center in Riffa.
Assistant Undersecretary for Primary Care and Public Health, Dr. Mariam Al-Hajri, Health officials and physiotherapy specialists were also present.
The 1,500 square meters department construction cost amounted to BD 735 thousand.
The department is equipped with technical and medical equipment, as well as operations staff set up to deliver high quality health services in implementation of HRH Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa.
The minister toured the building and stressed keenness to provide best health services to the community.
The physiotherapy department is the eighth of its kind in health centers. It provides electrotherapy, water therapy, therapeutic services for children, nervous system, as well as therapeutic services for women's health, back pain and sports medicine.
