Saudi Investors Centre opened
Manama : Industry, Commerce and Tourism Minister Zayed bin Rashid Al Zayani inaugurated the Saudi Investors Centre at the Bahrain Financial Harbour yesterday.
The Saudi Investor Centre is the outcome of the visit of Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa to Saudi Arabia in February.
During the visit, HRH Crown Prince had held talks with Prince Muhammad bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince, First Deputy Prime Minister and the Minister of Interior of Saudi Arabia. The Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism also played a key role in setting up the centre.
“There are a lot of Saudi investors keen on investing in the Kingdom. The centre will provide a platform for these investors,” said Hanan Awadh Salim, Director of Public Relations and Media (MoIC).
Al Zayani cut a cake as part of the inauguration, which bore an emblem of Bahrain, with the flag of Saudi Arabia and Bahrain.
He said the new centre will boost trade and commerce between the two countries.
