Bahrain to host Arabia Plast 2017

Manama : Bahrain will soon be the proud hosts of the International Plastic Surgery Conference and Exhibition called Arabia Plast International 2017.

The third Global Bahrain Conference on dermatology medicine, cosmetic surgery and burns will be held under the patronage of Lt. Gen. Dr Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Supreme Council of Health from 9th to 12th of March at the Gulf Convention Centre, Gulf Hotel. 

The event will incorporate the 13th conference of the Pan Arab Association of Plastic Surgery, 9th Conference of the GCC Association of Plastic Surgeons and the 3rd Bahrain International Conference of Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery.

More than 99 experts and proficient doctors from 32 countries will be in attendance, making the conference a comprehensive platform to showcase and discuss rapid developments and innovative specialities in the field of plastic surgery and aesthetic medicine. 

 “Some of the names that will enrich the conference are Dr Carlos Roxo, Dr Rieka Taghizadeh, Dr Timor Balushi and many others who have made significant contributions to the field of aesthetic surgery and medicine. 

“Participants will have an opportunity to exchange experiences by seeing the most important achievements and innovations in the field of cosmetic surgery,” Dr Tariq Saeed, President of the Conference said.

In addition to the conference, the event’s medical exhibition will include 25 global companies presenting the latest cosmetic methods in the Middle East. 

So far, over 350 delegates have registered for the conference which has been accredited for 28 Certified Medical Education hours on the recommendation of the National Health Regulatory Authority, important for doctors, nurses and paramedics who wish to renew their licenses. 

The event will witness global and renowned guest speakers discussing important topics related to health. Various workshops on wound healing and management, skin rejuvenation, cleft lip, palate surgery, filler and botox will also be held.
