Bowen, Lancelery win Monday Madness Golf
Manama : After a three way tie, the pairing of Jim Lanceley and Jamie Bowen (22 points) clinched the top prize on count back in the third competition of the Coca-Cola Monday Madness Night Golf Series at the Royal Golf Club.
The duo of Atta Ur Rehman Yousafi and Rehman Tipu (22) took second place, while Dr Rajinder Sachdeva and Naeem Khan (22) with nearest the pin contests won by Captain Adel on Hole 12 and Naeem Khan on Hole 16.
At the midway point in the six week-long series, the pairing of Ali Al Hakam and Ali Al Kowari (10 points) top the series leader board with Atta Ur Rehman Yousafi and Rehman Tipu (9) in second place, while Dr Rajinder Sachdeva and Naeem Khan (7) are in third.
Over 30 players took part in the “Rainbow Challenge” tournament and Coca-Cola branded flags and banners were displayed around the Club’s Montgomerie championship golf course for the duration of the competition.
A prize presentation ceremony in the Club’s Members’ Lounge was held where Adam Dutson, the Royal Golf Club’s Tournament Coordinator, was on hand to present the prizes on behalf of Coca-Cola.
