Race fans to enjoy thrills at Bahrain International Circuit

Manama : Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) is bringing action back to the public tonight with an E K Kanoo Drag and Drift Night powered by Motor City in Sakhir.

The evening invites drag racing and drifting enthusiasts to take their own cars or motorbikes and push them to their limit in a safe and controlled environment at BIC.

BIC’s world-class quarter-mile drag strip, is a member of the prestigious National Hot Rod Association (NHRA) Worldwide Network, will play host to the drag racing. For the drifting, a special course along BIC’s car parks five and six will stage all the action.

Both of Monday’s activities can be enjoyed for a single fee of BD10. Participation in just the drag racing or just the drifting costs BD7. Registration is on site from 5pm, and the action will be held from 6pm to 11pm. Those who would like to experience the drag or drift as a passenger can get into a friend’s car for an additional BD4 for each event.

Spectators can purchase tickets for BD2 apiece.

Meanwhile, as part of tonight’s drag racing, BIC will be offer one of its most unique and ultimate activities with the immensely popular Dragster Xperience. Go from zero to 100kph in just one second while seated in a Top Dragster, which costs BD40 per person.
