Bahrain host international conference on environment protection

Manama : HM the King's Personal Representative, Chairman of the Supreme Council for the Environment (SCE), Shaikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa, will patronize "Bahrain International Conference on the Protection of the Environment", in the presence of a number of Gulf and Arab officials. 

The SCE organizes the conference on 23, 24 March 2016 in cooperation with Dalal Al-Zayed Consultancy Centre.

SCE's CEO Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak bin Dinah, in a press conference held today, said that the conference aims to raise environmental awareness and culture among all segments of society. He added that local and regional environmental topics will be addressed, as well as the development of local legislation related to environmental matters.

Shura member, the conference Sec-Gen, Dr. Dalal Al-Zayed, said experts in the environment and judges will tackle three main themes, including legislations related the environment, legal protection and environmental responsibility. 

Al-Zayed added that types of environmental pollution and effects and consequences resulting, ways to stop pollution, as well as types of environmental protection in accordance with the latest methods will be also addressed.
