Alistair Rushton, Ingham secure Monday Madness golf series

Manama: Alistair Rushton and playing partner Kyran Ingham (nett 41) won week three of the current Porsche Monday Madness Night Golf Series at the Royal Golf Club with a nett score of 41.

The duo of Rob Lane and Nils Berge, (46) who came third in last week’s competition, went one better this week to finish as runners-up with Abdulla Al Hakam and Eid Adel Meftah (46 on count back) coming third, while nearest the pin side contests on holes 12 and 16 were won by Abdulla Al Qutami and Steven Hill respectively.

Nearly 40 golfers competed in the “3 x 3 Rumble” format tournament which was played under floodlights on the back 9 holes of the challenging Montgomerie championship course. Porsche branded flags and a Porsche Cayman car were displayed on the golf course for the duration of the competition.

The evening was rounded off with a prize presentation ceremony in the Club’s Members’ Lounge where Sohail Singh, the Royal Golf Club’s Tournament Coordinator, was on hand to present the prizes on behalf of Porsche Centre Bahrain.
