Crown Prince, US envoy discuss security ties
Manama: Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa stressed Bahrain’s commitment to further developing bilateral ties with the US in a meeting with the US Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, William Roebuck, at Gudaibiya Palace here yesterday.
Prince Salman noted that the ties were focused on strengthening counter-terrorism and violent extremism cooperation to ensure long-term regional security and stability.
During the meeting, HRH the Crown Prince highlighted the strong levels of cooperation between Bahrain and the United States across a range of areas including political, economic and defence.
In this regard, Prince Salman also highlighted the Kingdom’s long-standing support and contributions to international efforts to maintain global security and stability.
