The Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF) and the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) have signed a joint cooperation agreement aimed at advancing sustainable development and humanitarian action.
The agreement was signed by Ebrahim Dalhan Aldoseri, Acting Secretary-General of RHF, and Gerd Müller, Director General of UNIDO, at the United Nations headquarters in Vienna, Austria.
Focus on Recovery and Development
The partnership seeks to strengthen collaboration in areas of mutual interest, particularly supporting rehabilitation and economic recovery programmes in Palestine, Syria, and Sudan.
Discussions held on the sidelines of the UNIDO meeting highlighted efforts to rebuild livelihoods, restore productive sectors, and support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in conflict-affected regions.
Strengthening Humanitarian Impact
Both organizations emphasized that the agreement reflects a shared commitment to expanding cooperation and implementing initiatives that promote sustainable humanitarian and development outcomes.
The partnership will also leverage the combined expertise and resources of both institutions to support long-term recovery and deliver lasting positive impact on affected communities.
