HRH Premier warns of plots to destabilise GCC countries

His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa has affirmed that the recent events reveal the extent of the plots and conspiracies carried out against the region by terrorists who use religion to justify undermining its security and stability, stressing that the Islamic religion totally rejects their actions. 


HRH Premier expressed astonishment at the logic that makes a Muslim shed the blood of other Muslims while praying at a time when the Arab Nation is facing the threat of foreign interference into its affairs, and its stability is targeted.

HRH the Prime Minister asserted that Arab countries are working together, under the leadership of Saudi Arabia, to put an end to evil plots staged against the Arabia Gulf region, expressing confidence that Saudi Arabia, under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, will emerge victorious, and those plotting to undermine its security and seeking to spark sedition will fail.

HRH Premier made the remarks as he received here today a number of senior state officials, in the presence of the Kuwaiti Ambassador to Bahrain and Dean of the Diplomatic Corps Shaikh Azzam Mubarak Al Sabah.

He highlighted the challenges currently faced by the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), and called for the need to adopt new formulas of cooperation in order to deal with them more firmly, noting that the common values bonding GCC countries can help them develop a more comprehensive cooperation whose good results will benefit GCC peoples.

HRH the Prime Minister hailed the outstanding Bahraini-Kuwaiti relations, strengthened thanks to the two brotherly countries' leaderships' constant support, praising Kuwait's support to the Kingdom and its contributions to its development programmes.
