Bahrain to host Invest in Culture Conference

Bahrain will host an international conference on cultural investments under the theme “Investing in Culture: Business and social impact”.

The event is organised by Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA) in cooperation with French Foundation “THINKERS and DOERS” and the Manama-based Arab Regional Centre for World Heritage.

The conference will be held on January 19 at the Bahrain National Theatre, Bahrain National Museum and the Regional Centre of the Arab World Heritage Site.

More than 300 investors, officials and decision-makers in the field of culture will attend the event, which will discuss investing in culture and its impact on social and economic advancement and the importance in achieving sustainable development.

The conference aims to open channels of discussions among representatives of financial institutions on the importance of investing in culture.
BACA targets holding strategic partnerships with the private sector through the event.

Workshops and discussions in the cultural field will be held on the sidelines of the event.

In addition, Bahrain Musical Band will hold a musical show led by Maestro Maysa Jonoshi.
