Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka Praises Bahraini Women Amid Current Challenges

Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Wife of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and Chairperson of the Supreme Council for Women, has delivered a heartfelt message commending the dedication and resilience of Bahraini women in light of the current circumstances.

In her message, Princess Sabeeka emphasized the pivotal role of women as the “primary support and the steadfast shield for protecting the homeland,” highlighting their unwavering efforts across all sectors during this critical period. She praised the “melodic saga” written by Bahraini women through their diverse contributions and steadfast commitment to national duty.

The Princess noted that Bahraini women continue to demonstrate their indispensable role, whether through professional work, healthcare, education, or within the family. She remarked, “In her home, she is a school that raises generations who understand that the homeland is not merely a word to be spoken, but a pledge to be safeguarded.”

Princess Sabeeka also highlighted that Bahraini women possess “the weapon of awareness,” alongside the faith in their nation’s ability to overcome challenges. She added, “You today stand firm, reflecting the image of the Bahraini woman we have known throughout history. Your strength is derived from the legacy of mothers and grandmothers, who carried the weapon of patience through every trial our beloved country faced.”

The Princess stressed that the strength of Bahrain lies in unity, faith in God, and love for the nation. “Bahrain stands today with its great people, men and women, as one under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa,” she said.

Concluding her message, Princess Sabeeka affirmed the enduring role of women as guardians of both home and homeland, declaring, “Bahraini women will remain the protectors of the home and the nation, and Bahrain will remain lofty and steadfast with its people united around their leadership. May God protect Bahrain and make its sons and daughters its unbreakable shield.”

Her words serve as a tribute to the spirit, perseverance, and patriotism of Bahraini women, recognizing their ongoing contributions during a defining moment in the nation’s history.
