Following the recent Iranian attack on the Kingdom of Bahrain, the Supreme Council for Environment has confirmed that no abnormal radiation levels have been detected in the country’s airspace or territorial waters.
The council stated that continuous monitoring is being carried out through an advanced environmental and radiation detection network deployed across all governorates. Monitoring operations are ongoing around the clock in coordination with relevant national authorities.
Officials also confirmed close coordination with the GCC Emergency Management Centre, as well as regional and international organizations, including the International Atomic Energy Agency, to track any developments accurately and in real time.
According to the council, all environmental and radiation indicators remain within normal and safe levels, stressing that there is no cause for concern at present.
The authority urged the public to rely only on official sources for information and to avoid spreading rumors or inaccurate reports. It added that updates will be issued immediately should any new developments arise.
