Unity

More than 20,000 people registered to volunteer within hours of launching the national campaign “Bahrain is Well Because of Its People,” reflecting a strong wave of public solidarity and civic responsibility across the Kingdom.

The campaign, organised through the National Volunteer Platform, drew participation from citizens, residents and private sector institutions eager to contribute during the current circumstances.

According to official figures, registrations included more than 14,000 Bahraini citizens and over 5,000 residents. In addition, more than 500 companies and organisations signed up to support the initiative, highlighting the broad community engagement behind the campaign.

Participation

The initiative allows volunteers to contribute in a range of fields including health services, engineering, logistics, administration and monitoring. Specialised roles will be activated based on national needs, enabling authorities to benefit from professional expertise and skills across multiple sectors.

Officials said the wide range of volunteer opportunities reflects a flexible institutional approach that strengthens cooperation between government entities, volunteers and the private sector.

Support

Companies and institutions are also able to support the campaign through logistical assistance, technical services, health support and supply contributions. This participation from the private sector is seen as an important element in organising and strengthening national volunteer efforts.

The campaign carries a broader message that Bahrain’s strength lies in the dedication of its people. The rapid response from thousands of volunteers highlights the spirit of solidarity and commitment that continues to characterise Bahraini society.

Registration for the campaign remains open through the National Volunteer Platform for those wishing to contribute and support the initiative.
