Transit, tourism policy set for review

Government policy concerning facilities for transit passengers and tourists is expected to undergo a comprehensive review during the Nineteenth Ordinary Session of the Fourth Annual Meeting of the Sixth Legislative Chapter, as MPs prepare to open a general debate on the Kingdom’s tourism positioning.
The motion for general debate was submitted by a group of MPs led by MP Mamdouh Abbas Al Saleh, who will receive priority to speak. The request was also signed by MP Ahmed Abdulwahed Qarata, MP Jalal Kazem Mahfoodh, MP Hassan Ebrahim Hassan, MP Dr Hesham Ahmed Al Ashiri, MP Abdulnabi Salman Ahmed, MP Mahdi Abdulaziz Al Showaikh, MP Mohsen Ali Al Asboul, MP Mahmood Mirza Fardan and MP Dr Ali Majed Al Nuaimi.
