HRH Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Bahrain Visits Qatar

 His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain, departed today for the State of Qatar.

Upon arrival in Qatar, HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister was warmly received by His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Thani, Deputy Amir of Qatar. During the visit, His Royal Highness is scheduled to meet with His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Amir of Qatar, to discuss bilateral relations and cooperation aimed at advancing the shared goals and aspirations of both nations.

HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister was accompanied by a high-level Bahraini delegation, including HE Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister; HE General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior; HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Minister of the Prime Minister’s Court; HE Ghanim bin Fadhel Al Buainain, Minister of Shura and Representatives Council Affairs; HE Dr Shaikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Minister of Transportation and Telecommunications; HE Eng. Ebrahim bin Hassan Al Hawaj, Minister of Works; HE Nawaf bin Mohammed Al Maawda, Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Waqf; HE Dr Ramzan bin Abdullah Al-Noaimi, Minister of Information; HE Shaikh Salman bin Ahmed bin Salman Al Khalifa, President of the Court of the Crown Prince; HE Isa bin Abdul Rahman Al Hammadi, Advisor for Communication Affairs at the Court of the Crown Prince; HE Mohamed bin Ali Al Ghatam, Ambassador of Bahrain to Qatar; Shaikh Fahad bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa, Director General for Policies and Coordination at the Prime Minister’s Office; Hamad Yaqoob Al Mahmeed, Director General of the Prime Minister’s Office; Ahmed Khalid Al Arifi, CEO of the National Communication Centre; along with several senior officials.

Upon departure from Bahrain, His Royal Highness was seen off by a number of senior officials, reflecting the strong official support and significance of the visit.
