20-Year-Old Killed in Traffic Accident in Busaiteen
A 20-year-old man was killed in a traffic accident on Riya Street near the entrance of the Busaiteen area after the vehicle he was driving overturned.
According to eyewitnesses quoted by Al Ayam, the driver attempted to overtake the vehicle in front of him in an unsafe manner, causing him to enter the opposite lane. During the overtaking attempt, he was surprised by an oncoming vehicle and tried to avoid it abruptly, which led to him losing control of his car. The vehicle then veered off course and overturned.
The Ministry of Interior stated that the driver died at the scene due to his injuries. It confirmed that the relevant authorities immediately initiated procedures upon receiving the report. Traffic patrols, police units, Civil Defence, and National Ambulance services responded to the site to take the necessary legal actions.
