The Meteorological Directorate of Bahrain, under the Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications, has reported strong wind gusts across the kingdom on January 21, 2026. Measurements taken at 1:00 PM local time show northwesterly winds affecting key areas, in line with recent cold weather forecasts.

The strongest gusts were recorded at the King Fahd Causeway. These winds are expected to bring cooler temperatures, occasional dust or sand in some areas, and may impact outdoor activities, driving on bridges and causeways, aviation, and marine conditions.
