Bahrain and Kuwait are committed to exchanging expertise and experiences to advance joint media initiatives, enhance their professional impact, and expand regional and international presence.
This came as His Excellency Dr. Ramzan bin Abdulla Al Noaimi, Minister of Information, received H.E. Abdulrahman Baddah Al Mutairi, Minister of Information and Culture and Minister of State for Youth Affairs of the State of Kuwait.
The meeting reviewed efforts to enhance cooperation in the media and cultural sectors.
It also discussed developments in the media landscape, current challenges, and ways to improve Gulf media coordination in line with rapid transformations in the sector.
H.E. Dr. Al Noaimi highlighted the longstanding relations between Bahrain and Kuwait, rooted in strong historical ties and solid foundations of cooperation and integration.
He noted that these relations are supported by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Highness Sheikh Mishal Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, Amir of the State of Kuwait.
On the sidelines of the meeting, H.E. Minister Al Mutairi, accompanied by H.E. Dr. Al Noaimi and several ministry officials, toured the Ministry of Information complex, including the National Communication Centre (NCC), the main newsroom studio, and Radio Bahrain building.
On his part, H.E. Minister Al Mutairi commended the significant development of Bahrain’s media sector and its efforts to enhance joint Gulf media cooperation, highlighting how these initiatives support shared aspirations and the broader interests of the Gulf Cooperation Council states.
