HM King, HRH Prince Salman receive greetings from home and abroad

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, yesterday received cables of congratulations at home and from overseas on the occasion of the Kingdom’s National Days celebrations and the 26th anniversary of HM the King’s Accession to the Throne, and the accompanying national events.

HM King Hamad and HRH Prince Salman received greetings from senior members of the royal family, heads of Representatives and Shura councils, ministers, senior officials, dignitaries, members of the Representatives Council, Shura and municipal councils, governors, Bahrain’s ambassadors abroad, diplomats, heads of societies and sports associations, clubs and citizens.

His Majesty received telephone calls from Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al Sudani and Palestine President Mahmoud Abbas, who congratulated them on the Kingdom’s glorious occasions.

Prime Minister Al Sudani and President Abbas praised the strong ties between Bahrain and their respective countries, wishing the Kingdom continued progress and prosperity under the leadership of HM King Hamad.

HM the King thanked them for the well wishes and reiterated their longstanding bilateral relations.

The royal leadership wished Prime Minister Al Sudani and President Abbas abundant health and happiness and many happy returns to their countries and peoples.

His Majesty sent a cable of congratulations to HM Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck, King of the Kingdom of Bhutan, on its National Day.
