Crown Prince meets FDPM candidates

Applications reflect commitment of youth to hone their skills: Crown Prince

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, yesterday met the successful candidates of the First Deputy Prime Minister (FDPM)’s fellowship programme at Gudaibiya Palace.

 

On the occasion, Prince Salman highlighted the importance of further bolstering national skills and capabilities to support the Kingdom’s programme of sustainable development.

 

He noted that the significant amount of applications for the fellowship programme reflected the commitment of Bahraini youth to further develop their skills to capitalise on opportunities that facilitate the development of their performance.

 

HRH Crown Prince expressed his hope that the fellowship programme would be at the forefront of government development programmes. “It will contribute to increasing the proficiency of the national workforce through improving the leadership and analytical skills of the fellows. This opportunity will enhance their performance once they return to their posts after completing the training programme,” he pointed out.

 

The fellows extended their appreciation and gratitude to Prince Salman on the opportunity to meet with him. They also lauded his commitment to developing the national workforce through continuous support to training schemes and programmes.
