U.S. Embassy Congratulates Bahrain on Hosting 46th GCC Summit
The U.S. Embassy in Manama has congratulated His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the Government of Bahrain on hosting the 46th Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Summit.
In a statement, the Embassy said the GCC continues to play an important role in strengthening regional cooperation. It added that the United States remains committed to working with all GCC member states to support peace, stability, and prosperity in the region.
The Embassy also recalled that during his meeting with GCC Foreign Ministers in September, U.S. Secretary Rubio reaffirmed Washington’s commitment to GCC security and the shared goal of promoting peace and development both regionally and globally.
