HM King Hamad Welcomes Participants of the King Hamad Forum for Justice

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the King of the Kingdom of Bahrain, today received senior participants of the King Hamad Forum for Justice at Sakhir Palace. The forum is being held under His Majesty’s royal patronage and hosted by the Kingdom of Bahrain.
At the outset, His Majesty warmly welcomed the distinguished guests, expressing appreciation for their participation in this important international forum that brings together leading legal and judicial minds.
In his keynote address, His Majesty the King emphasized Bahrain’s commitment to upholding the principles of justice, truth, and freedom—values that lie at the heart of humanity and serve as the foundation for peaceful coexistence among nations.
His Majesty highlighted that the establishment of the Bahrain International Commercial Court marks a historic milestone in the Kingdom’s judicial development. The court, he noted, reflects Bahrain’s belief in openness, international cooperation, and its continuous pursuit to strengthen its position as a global hub for cross-border commercial dispute resolution.
“The court will serve as an effective mechanism for resolving commercial disputes, supporting the global business community through a judiciary that understands the language and needs of all parties, while promoting independent and impartial justice,” His Majesty said. “Legal security, in our view, is the umbrella under which modern markets grow with confidence and sustainability.”
His Majesty also praised the constructive partnership with the Republic of Singapore, whose pioneering experience in international commercial courts has inspired Bahrain’s own initiative. This cooperation, he said, reflects the depth of bilateral relations and Bahrain’s dedication to adopting successful global practices aligned with its national vision and cultural identity.
In conclusion, His Majesty expressed deep appreciation to all those who contributed to the creation of the Bahrain International Commercial Court, reaffirming the Kingdom’s commitment to continuous modernization and to strengthening its role as an international center for justice and the rule of law.
At the end of the meeting, the visiting delegates expressed their profound gratitude to His Majesty for the gracious hospitality and the excellent organization of the forum. They praised Bahrain’s remarkable development and progress under His Majesty’s leadership and lauded the Kingdom’s spirit of tolerance, coexistence, and human harmony.
They extended their best wishes to Bahrain for continued prosperity, advancement, and success.
