Third joint exercise enhances international security, cooperation and readiness

The Interior Minister, His Excellency General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, has affirmed that the third joint exercise of the International Security Alliance member states represents a pioneering step in the alliance’s journey.
He added that the exercise reflects the extent of international cooperation in performing security duties and tackling transnational threats.
“The third joint exercise marks a milestone in enhancing the alliance’s capabilities and demonstrates our commitment to confronting organised and transnational crime,” H.E. the Interior Minister said, highlighting the exercise’s strategic importance.
Hosted by Bahrain’s Interior Ministry, the three-day exercise concluded yesterday in the presence of His Highness UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Lt-General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, alongside senior officials from the Kingdom.
The event brought together security agencies, specialised tactical and technical teams, rapid intervention units, and aviation, communications, and media representatives from nine countries, including Bahrain, UAE, Morocco, Senegal, France, Spain, Singapore, Italy, and Slovakia.
The exercise featured workshops, training sessions, investigation and intelligence exercises, and joint planning simulations, as well as command and control system training to address modern security challenges.
Coordination and professionalism
H.E. General Shaikh Rashid commended the level of coordination and professionalism displayed during the exercise, saying: “Practical field work is one of the best ways to foster cohesion and develop joint operations. The outstanding security success achieved in this exercise reflects the dedication and high efficiency of all participating teams.”
He also expressed his gratitude for the UAE’s organisational and technical support, noting its pivotal role in achieving the exercise’s objectives.
“The keenness of His Highness Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan to follow all stages of the exercise underscores the significance of this collaborative effort and its advanced security scenarios,” the Interior Minister added. Highlighting the broader impact, H.E. General Shaikh Rashid stated, “Unifying international efforts contributes to exceptional security achievements in combating crime in all its forms. This exercise enhances our collective capacity to respond effectively to the rapidly evolving challenges in the region.”
He thanked the technical, administrative, and organisational teams, as well as all participants for their determination and cooperation in turning a theoretical plan into a practical, real-world operation.
