HRH the Crown Prince Meets UK Ambassador to Strengthen Bilateral Relations
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today received His Excellency Alastair Long, the Ambassador of the United Kingdom to the Kingdom of Bahrain, at Riffa Palace.
During the meeting, His Royal Highness highlighted the strength and depth of the historic relations between Bahrain and the United Kingdom, built on enduring friendship, strategic partnership, and mutual respect. He emphasised the importance of further enhancing cooperation to create new opportunities that serve the shared goals and aspirations of both nations and their peoples.
Discussions also covered ways to strengthen bilateral engagement, address issues of mutual interest, and exchange views on recent regional and international developments.
His Excellency Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy, attended the meeting.
