Bahraini Youth Drowns in Thailand
The people of Bilad Al Qadeem are mourning the loss of young Bahraini Jassim Abdali Hayat, who died in a drowning accident while on holiday in Thailand.
Jassim was on a boat trip with two of his cousins in Phuket when strong waves pulled them into the sea last Friday evening. His cousins were rescued, but Jassim went missing.
Rescue teams searched for three days before finding him dead.
Family, friends, and neighbors described him as a kind and well-loved young man, saying his sudden death has left them heartbroken.
