NHRA Chief Visits Amana Healthcare Facility in Jasra
Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Al Ansari, Chief Executive Officer of the National Health Regulatory Authority (NHRA), conducted a field visit to the Amana Healthcare – Bahrain facility in Jasra, accompanied by Dr. Mohammed Al Saati, the facility’s Chief Executive Officer, along with several officials.
During the visit, Dr. Al Ansari reviewed Amana’s readiness to receive patients and their families, highlighting its strategic role within Bahrain’s healthcare system, particularly in providing specialized long-term care and post-acute rehabilitation services.
He reaffirmed NHRA’s commitment to promoting excellence in healthcare by ensuring the application of the highest international standards of safety and quality.
For his part, Dr. Al Saati explained that Amana Healthcare – Bahrain will support the objectives of the National Health Plan and Bahrain’s Economic Vision 2030 by expanding specialized services, enhancing the quality of healthcare delivery, and setting new benchmarks for patient-centered care both locally and regionally.
Amana Healthcare – Bahrain was established in partnership with Mumtalakat as part of M42, a global network of world-class healthcare facilities. It is the Kingdom’s first hospital specifically designed to provide specialized long-term care and post-acute rehabilitation.
The facility offers more than 100 inpatient beds dedicated to advanced long-term care, post-acute rehabilitation, and extended respiratory support, complementing Bahrain’s government healthcare services and strengthening the overall medical ecosystem.
