Foreign Minister Attends Arab League Committee Meeting in Cairo
Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, took part in the meeting of the Committee on Following Up the Implementation of Decisions and Commitments at the ministerial level of the Arab League. The session was held today at the League’s headquarters in Cairo, with the participation of foreign ministers from member states on the committee, alongside Secretary-General Ahmed Aboul Gheit.
The meeting reviewed the efforts of the Arab League’s General Secretariat in monitoring the implementation of resolutions adopted at the 34th Arab Summit, hosted by Baghdad in May 2025. Discussions also addressed current regional challenges and issues related to strengthening Arab cooperation.
Also present was H.E. Fawzia bint Abdullah Zainal, Bahrain’s Ambassador to Egypt and Permanent Representative to the Arab League.
