New Jasra Intersection Bridge Opens to Ease Traffic Flow

The Ministry of Works has announced that traffic movement on the newly constructed bridge at Jasra Intersection will officially opened today.

The bridge, part of the Jasra Intersection Development Project, is one of the Kingdom’s key strategic road projects. It will serve residents of Salman City, Budaiya, Janabiya, and nearby areas, offering smoother connectivity and reduced congestion.

The new flyover provides a direct left-turn route from Janabiya Highway to Shaikh Isa bin Salman Highway, helping ease traffic bottlenecks in the area. According to the Ministry, the development is designed to handle up to 57,000 vehicles daily, improving both travel times and road safety.

This project is part of a wider national plan to upgrade Bahrain’s road network, aimed at keeping pace with rapid urban growth and ensuring safer, more efficient transportation for all road users.
