Housing Minister stresses on increasing work pace in 2016
Minister of Housing Basim Alhamer stressed that in 2016 the Ministry’s pace of work will be increased and more housing projects will be implemented.
He stated that the Ministry was going ahead according to the Government Action Plan. He added that the housing budget stays the same, which provides the opportunity to step up the pace of work.
He said that 2016 would witness launching of new housing projects including the Northern City, East Hidd and Al Ramili Housing projects. He added the Social Housing Fund programme would be expanded for the benefit of more citizens. He noted that the Iskan Bank in 2016 would play a vital role in the development of the projects.
