HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Meets Commander of US Central Command

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, emphasized the deep friendship and close strategic partnership between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United States of America. He noted that relations between the two countries continue to grow across all fields, supported by their shared commitment to strengthening cooperation.

The Crown Prince highlighted the importance of building on the achievements of past agreements, including the Comprehensive Security Integration and Prosperity Agreement, and working towards broader collaboration, particularly in military and defense areas, to serve common goals and interests.

Meeting with CENTCOM Commander

During a meeting at Riffa Palace, His Royal Highness welcomed Admiral Charles Bradford Cooper, Commander of the United States Central Command (CENTCOM), who was visiting Bahrain with his delegation. HRH congratulated him on his appointment and wished him success in his new role.

The meeting was attended by HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Minister of the Prime Minister’s Court; HE Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy; and HE Lieutenant-General Theyab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi, Chief of Staff.

Regional and Global Security Discussed

The discussions reviewed the latest regional and international developments and addressed issues of mutual interest. The Crown Prince noted the vital role played by the United States, alongside partner and allied nations, in strengthening security, stability, and development in the region and the wider world.
