HM King Hamad and HRH Crown Prince Praise New Board of Bahrain Journalists Association

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa congratulated Mr. Essa Al Shaiji on his re-election as President of the Bahrain Journalists Association, praising the trust placed in him by the association’s members. His Majesty highlighted Al Shaiji’s extensive experience, professional competence, and his contributions to the advancement and prominence of Bahraini journalism.
The King also extended his congratulations to the new board members, wishing them success in achieving the association’s objectives, continuing its noble mission in serving its members, enhancing journalistic work, and developing the skills of Bahraini journalists. His Majesty expressed appreciation for the founders and previous board members for their contributions to the progress of journalism in Bahrain.
His Majesty lauded the many achievements of the Bahrain Journalists Association over the past 25 years, attributing its success to successive generations of distinguished journalists and media professionals dedicated to serving the profession. He also commended the leading role of Bahraini journalism in serving society, supporting national development, promoting unity, and addressing issues that benefit the nation and its citizens. His Majesty emphasized the credibility, objectivity, and professionalism of Bahraini media in reporting events accurately, defending national interests, and highlighting the country’s achievements and progress. He concluded by acknowledging the dedication and commitment of all Bahraini journalists in serving their nation, community, and citizens.
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, also congratulated Mr. Essa Al Shaiji on his re-election and extended his good wishes to the new board members. HRH highlighted the importance of Bahraini journalism in all developmental sectors, in line with the national development led by His Majesty the King. He praised the contributions of the founding members and the previous board for strengthening the association and national journalism.
