The Bahrain Malayalee Business Forum marked India’s 72nd Independence Day with an event dedicated to the labor community. As part of its 11th annual ‘Help & Drink 2025’ program, celebrations were held at the Al Rashid labor camp in Tubli. Aneesh K.V., Patron of BMBF, officially inaugurated the event. In addition to providing basic meals and beverages, workers were also treated to specially prepared tricolor-themed ice cream and energy drinks

Annai Tamil Mandram celebrated India’s 79th Independence Day at the Labor Camp of Strong Force M. G. C. WLL, located in the Alba area. President Senthil GK, Palanichamy, (General Secretary of ATM), and Mohammed Sultan (Treasurer of ATM) attended. More than 100 workers were provided with food, fruits, and soft drinks
St. Peter’s Jacobite Syrian Church
St. Peter’s Jacobite Syrian Church in Bahrain celebrated Independence Day at the church premises. The festivities included the hoisting of the national flag by the parish vicar, Very Rev. Fr. Sleeba Paul Corepiscopa Vattavelil. The event saw the participation of managing committee office-bearers including Benny P. Mathew (Vice President), Manosh Kora (Secretary), Sabu Paulose (Joint Treasurer), Eldho V. K. (Joint Secretary), along with committee members Lijo K. Alex, Biju Thelappally, Lovely Joseph, Gino Scaria, and Anson P. Isaac (Ex-Officio).

The Indian School Bahrain (ISB) celebrated India’s 79th Independence Day at the Isa Town Campus in the presence of ISB Chairman Adv. The Bahrain Kerala Catholic Association (KCA) organized its Indian Independence Day celebrations at its premises. The event commenced with KCA President James John hoisting the national flag. KCA General Secretary Vinu Christy officebearers and members, including Vice President Leo Joseph, Treasurer Nixon Varghese, Membership Secretary Sevy Mathunny, Assistant General Secretary Saji Louis, Jins Joseph, Abraham John, Roy C. Antony, Nithyan Thomas, Thomas John, P.V. Thomas, Roy Joseph, Peter Thomas, Toby Mathew, and Johnson attended. The Women’s Wing President Shiny Nithyan and Convener Juliette Thomas also participated.
Kerala Muslim Cultural Centre
The Kerala Muslim Cultural Centre (KMCC Bahrain) organized a celebration of Indian Independence Day at its headquarters in Manama. The event featured KMCC Bahrain General Secretary Shamsuddeen Vellikulangara hoisting the national flag. Other key KMCC office-bearers present at the ceremony included A.P. Faisal, Saleem Thalankara, Faisal Kottappally, and Faisal Kandithazha.

The Bahrain Keraleeya Samajam (BKS) organized a flag hoisting ceremony as part of India’s Independence Day celebrations at its premises. Dileesh Kumar, Acting President of BKS, hoisted the national flag. The event saw the participation of several key BKS office-bearers and members, including Acting Secretary Mahesh G. Pillai, Literature Secretary Vinayachandran Nair, Summer Camp Director Udayan Kundamkuzhi, former Indian Navy officer Venugopal Balakrishnan, Charity Wing Convener K.T. Salim, and members Faisal, Reji Kuruvila, Bijoy, Zakariya, and Master Nidhil.
