271,693 people entered Bahrain on December 24-29
The Assistant Undersecretary for Ports, Search and Follow-up at the General Directorate of Nationality, Passports & Residence (GDNPR) on Thursday said 271,693 people had entered Bahrain between December 24-29. He added 225,075 arrived from Saudi Arabia and other Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC)-member countries via King Fahad Causeway, 46211 through Bahrain International Airport and 407 through ports.
The 25-kilometre long King Fahad Causeway, the terrestrial link between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, was opened on November 26, 1986. It has been used by millions of travelers and vehicles, making it one of the busiest traffic areas in the Arab world.
