Bahrain’s Council for Health Studies and Specialisations has secured institutional accreditation from the Arab Board of Health Specializations.
The move is a formal recognition of the Kingdom’s efforts to raise the standard of medical education and professional training.
H.E. Dr Jameela Mohamed Redha Al Salman, chair of the Services Committee in the Shura Council, said the development marked a clear gain in Bahrain’s drive to strengthen its healthcare system.
She pointed to the consistent backing from the leadership, crediting His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, with setting the course for progress across many fields.
She also drew attention to the work of trainers, lecturers and health staff whose steady push has helped raise the standard of teaching and specialisation to match international benchmarks.
That effort, she said, has produced a growing pool of Bahraini professionals equipped to meet the needs of the sector.
