The Crown Prince’s International Scholarship Program (CPISP) has launched its training program for candidates of the 2026 scholarship cycle. The program includes a series of specialized courses and activities aimed at developing the skills of shortlisted students as part of the selection process for the annual scholarship awards. The training is taking place at the Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance (BIBF) headquarters.
The program’s Executive Director, Ms. Eva Jarabet, welcomed the shortlisted students and congratulated them on their academic excellence and for reaching this stage in the selection process. She highlighted the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to invest in the nation's youth by enhancing and refining their capabilities through various educational and professional training programs.
The CPISP, in collaboration with BIBF, held an introductory session for the shortlisted students from both public and private schools to brief them on the details of the training courses that will take place over the summer and into the next academic year.
Ms. Eva explained that the training program includes a variety of intensive courses and activities, such as a critical thinking course, an academic writing course, and a leadership development program. The leadership component will grant participants an internationally recognized certificate from the Chartered Management Institute (CMI Level 3 Certificate in Team Leading). The program will also include a personality assessment to help students explore suitable career paths. In addition, preparatory courses for the IELTS and SAT exams will be provided.
She added that the training program aims to develop students’ personal skills in leadership and communication, as well as academic skills in analysis, critical thinking, essay writing, and research. The selection of the final scholarship recipients will take place at the beginning of the new year, based on their cumulative GPA, IELTS and SAT scores, and performance in the critical thinking and leadership training courses.
