Eighteen violating workers were detained and 218 individuals deported for residency and labour law violations following 1,206 inspection campaigns and visits conducted by the Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA) during the first half of June 2025 in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The LMRA stated that these campaigns included 1,189 inspection visits to commercial establishments across the Kingdom’s governorates, in addition to 17 joint campaigns with relevant government bodies.
Various violations related to labour and residency laws were detected, and the necessary legal measures were taken.
Cooperation
The Authority emphasised the ongoing cooperation with the Ministry of Interior, the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, the Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications, and the Social Insurance Organisation to address labour market violations, highlighting the importance of these campaigns in maintaining market stability and protecting the national economy.
The LMRA called on members of the public to report any violations through its official channels, including its website, the national system (Tawasul), or the call centre at 17506055.
