Bahrain to Roll Out Diverse Scholarship Opportunities for Top Students Following June 2 Exam Results

With the academic year drawing to a close, Bahrain’s Ministry of Education is preparing to unveil a comprehensive and diversified scholarship plan tailored to the evolving academic interests of students and the demands of the future job market. The announcement will follow the release of final exam results, scheduled for the evening of June 2, 2025.

Education Minister Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Juma praised the achievements of students during a year marked by academic excellence, enrichment activities, and nationwide competitions. He congratulated both students and parents as final exams wrap up on May 29, signaling the end of what he called a "rich and successful academic year."

The upcoming national scholarship plan, managed by the Ministry’s Scholarships and Student Grants Directorate, will prioritize inclusivity across scientific disciplines, ensuring equal access for high-achieving students. The Minister confirmed that cumulative GPA will remain the sole criteria for determining scholarship eligibility, reinforcing the ministry’s commitment to fairness and merit-based opportunities.

Dr. Juma also extended his heartfelt appreciation to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for their steadfast support of Bahrain’s educational sector.

"The future begins with education," the Minister said, emphasizing that this year’s scholarship program will reflect both academic merit and national priorities aimed at building a skilled and competitive generation.
