HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister Receives Azerbaijani Foreign Minister in Manama

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, met today with His Excellency Jeyhun Bayramov, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, to further strengthen diplomatic ties between the two nations.

During the meeting, HE Bayramov delivered a written message from His Excellency Ilham Aliyev, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, addressed to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad reaffirmed the strong and longstanding relationship between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Republic of Azerbaijan, emphasizing the shared commitment to enhancing bilateral cooperation in line with mutual aspirations. He underscored the importance of expanding collaboration across various sectors to create new opportunities for both countries.

The two sides also exchanged views on recent regional and international developments and discussed matters of mutual interest.

HE Jeyhun Bayramov expressed his appreciation for HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister’s dedication to strengthening ties between Bahrain and Azerbaijan. He also conveyed his country’s best wishes for Bahrain’s continued growth and prosperity.

The meeting was attended by HE Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs; HE Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy; and HE Hamad bin Faisal Al Malki, Minister of Cabinet Affairs.
