Open Track at Bahrain International Circuit

ManamaBahrain International Circuit (BIC) opens its doors to the public on Friday for an entire day of racing thrills in Sakhir. Set to be on the cards are an Open Track for Cars and Bikes, and a pair of Passenger Rides from the Ultimate Track Experience and these activities will be held from 9am to 4pm along BIC’s 5.412-kilometres Grand Prix track.

Open Track Day will allow participants to drive their very own road cars or motorbikes and can choose between between driving for the full day at BD85 per person, or for just half the day at BD60. A single 30-minute drive is also available for BD25.Those who book in advance will get a discount with a full day’s drive for BD75, half-day at BD50 and a single session for BD20.

Friends or family members accompanying participants will also have a chance to be a part of all the action as a passenger in a car for BD12.

The Clio Cup ride gives fans a look into the racing capabilities of one of the world’s most popular sports cars. The Renault-manufactured Clio Cup features a 1.6-litre Turbocharged engine. It can generate up to 220bhp and 6,000rpm, and it has a paddle shift racing gearbox and an FIA-specification roll cage and seats. The Ride comprises a single three-lap session of around 40 minutes and can be enjoyed for BD25.

The Radical SR3 passenger ride will be conducted alongside one of BIC’s expert driving instructors. A Radical SR3 boasts an RPE-Suzuki Generation 1,340 DOHC engine. It can go from zero to 100kmh in 3.4 seconds, and also has a six-speed sequential gearbox and paddle gearshift system. The Ride costs BD35 for a three-lap session of around 40 minutes.
