Fourth week of Falconry tournament concludes
Under the patronage of HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports and President of Bahrain Olympic Committee, the fourth week of Bahrain Tournament for Falcon and Hunting concluded in Al Sabkha Area near Bahrain International Endurance Village on Saturday.
Shaikh Nasser congratulated the winners and appreciated the efforts of the members of the organising committees in making the tournament one of the most successful traditional sports events in the region.
The fourth week of the tournament was attended by Shaikh Faisal bin Rashid Al Khalifa, President of Bahrain Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation (BREEF) and included several falconry competitions and advanced stages of Saluki hunting dogs races, shooting contests and a traditional Arabian horse race.
Similar contests will be organised during the fifth and final week of the tournament, which will be held this Thursday to Saturday.
