Bahrain to host sixth Meet ICT, BITEX in 2017

The Bahrain Technology Companies Society (BTECH) and “Work Smart” for Events Management announced that the sixth edition of the “MEET ICT” conference and BITEX exhibition would be held from 7- 9 January, 2017.

An elite group of local, regional and global speakers will participate in the sessions and workshops of the event to discuss a wide range of current technical topics and the latest data of the sector around the world. Besides, a number of key issues highlighting the importance of the information and communications technology industry will be reviewed.

Many local, regional and international companies are expected to participate in the event with an increase of 20 per cent compared to last year’s event.

BITEX 2017 will cover various information and communication technology sectors such as information and communication solutions systems, distance training and education, banking, insurance and  health care.

Work Smart this year was keen to strengthen the participants’ benefit by building a permanent processing platform in a prominent place of the exhibition through which they will manage to showcase their products and services to the largest possible number of visitors.

Nearly 20 speakers from Bahrain and abroad took part in the past edition of the MEET ICT Conference, while BITEX gallery attracted around 30 Information Technology Companies from Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, UAE, Jordan, Lebanon, and India, in addition to the host country.
