GCC tourism officials to meet in Doha
The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) ministers in charge of tourism will convene for their second meeting on Wednesday, in Doha, Qatar.
GCC Assistant Secretary-General for Cultural and Media Affairs Khalid bin Salem Al-Ghassani said that undersecretaries in charge of tourism will hold a preparatory meeting on Monday in Doha.
A draft project submitted by the United Arab Emirates on regulating and promoting the sector of tourism industry in the Arabian Gulf region will be on the agenda.
The delegations will also discuss cooperation between the public and private sectors and a memo submitted by the GCC general-secretariat to protect the urban heritage.
