Paris : Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has arrived in France for a two-day diplomatic trip, kicking off the visit alongside French President Emmanuel Macron at the grand finale of the Esports World Cup in Paris.
The leaders attended the closing ceremony at the Grand Palais, marking the first time the Saudi-backed global gaming competition has taken place outside the kingdom. The event served as the opening act to a series of high-level bilateral discussions covering trade, energy, and regional stability in the Middle East.
On the official agenda, both sides are expected to sign multiple bilateral agreements spanning health, transport, and energy sectors, while also co-chairing the inaugural meeting of the Saudi-French Strategic Partnership Council. Discussions will heavily focus on Middle Eastern security, particularly given ongoing regional volatility and diplomatic efforts to foster long-term stability in the Gulf.
