Prince Harry Embraces Diana’s Parenting Style with ‘Extra Tight Hugs’

London: Prince Harry spoke in a recent interview about following the example of his late mother, Diana, Princess of Wales, in showing hands-on affection to his children.
On the "Joe Marler Will See You Now" podcast, the Duke of Sussex explained that he hugs Archie, seven, and Lilibet, five, "extra tight" on hard days. He noted this practice echoes how Diana used to squeeze him and his brother, William, "as tight as possible".
The Duke praised the resilience and refreshing perspective of his children during the chat. The interview was recorded just days before the couple took their children to meet King Charles III, their first meeting in four years.
Harry and Meghan reside in California after stepping down from royal duties in 2020. While Harry has reconciled with his father, his relationship with Prince William remains distant.
