Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez Reunite at Cannes

Vin Diesel and Michelle Rodriguez are set to reunite with fellow cast members of The Fast and the Furious at the Cannes Film Festival for a special anniversary screening celebrating 25 years of the blockbuster franchise.

The special midnight screening will honour the original 2001 film that launched one of Hollywood’s most successful action franchises and transformed street-racing culture into a global cinematic phenomenon.

Alongside Diesel and Rodriguez, actress Jordana Brewster, producer Neal H. Moritz, and Meadow Walker — daughter of late franchise star Paul Walker — are also expected to attend the event in Cannes.

The Cannes tribute comes as the Fast & Furious franchise continues to expand beyond films, with new television projects and theme park attractions currently in development. The series has generated more than $7 billion at the global box office since its debut in 2001.
