Dubai’s Global Village Extends Season Until End of May for Eid Al Adha Celebrations
Global Village has announced an extension of its current season, allowing visitors to continue enjoying the popular entertainment destination until May 31 as part of its Eid Al Adha celebrations.
The extension was revealed on the venue’s scheduled closing day, giving residents and tourists additional weeks to visit one of Dubai’s most popular family attractions.
Global Village had resumed operations on April 20 following a temporary closure linked to regional uncertainty and has since continued attracting strong visitor numbers.
Fernando Eiroa, Chief Executive Officer of Dubai Holding Entertainment, described Season 30 as a major milestone reflecting three decades of growth and success for the destination.
As part of the extended season, Global Village has introduced a limited-time Dh99 “Wonder Pass,” offering unlimited access for one day to rides and attractions in the Carnaval zone. The pass covers more than 195 rides, games and entertainment experiences and is available online and at ticket counters.
The destination has also expanded its entertainment offerings this season with the addition of new rides including Toronto Tornado, Cape Gliders, Rio Rocket, Desert Dashers and York Bikes, catering to both thrill-seekers and families.
For children, the “Little Wonderers” indoor play zone continues to attract families with obstacle courses, climbing activities and interactive entertainment experiences.
Global Village is also maintaining extended operating hours, welcoming visitors from 5pm to 1am on Fridays and Saturdays, and until midnight on weekdays.
The decision to extend the season reflects continued demand for outdoor entertainment experiences in Dubai as the city prepares for Eid Al Adha festivities and the conclusion of the outdoor events season.
